Other Info | Two bands from Scotland: Tannahill Weavers are a classic band with highland bagpipes and Scottish vocal standards in English, songs such as Wild Mountain Thyme, Dark Eyes Molly and many more. Young band Manran joins them, with Scottish and Irish pipes, fiddle, percussion, accordion and vocals and harmonies in Scottish Gaelic. Manran is the new hit band now taking Scotland and Ireland by storm at festivals. Now with their 2nd CD, both produced by Phil Cunningham, September 21 is Manran's their first Arizona appearance-- Celtic music lovers can't miss this special double bill, and the chance to welcome to Tucson Manran, one of the hottest new groups out of Scotland today. Each band will do a set, then an encore with all..... |
