Back for an 18th season, the hugely popular holiday show “Irish Christmas in America” brings a fascinating performance of music, song, dance and stories of seasonal Irish traditions. Produced by Sligo fiddler Oisín MacDiarmada, the hugely popular Irish Christmas in America show features Irish music and dance in an engaging performance that is rich in humor and boundlessly energetic.
The Maguire Academy of Irish Dance from here in Tucson will be dancing during the show and in the encore!
The family-friendly performance features lively instrumental tunes played on fiddle, flute, uilleann pipes, harp, and bouzouki, as well as thrilling Irish dancing. Evocative photographic images provide a backdrop to some of the rich historical traditions of Ireland, and the program brings traditional and often unknown Irish customs to the United States.
